About Sinéad Egan

Senior Physiotherapist at Knocknacarra Physiotherapy Clinic
Sinéad qualified from the University of Limerick with an honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2008. She has done post-graduate training in Pilates and teaches matwork and ante-natal Pilates regularly. She has done numerous other courses and attended many study days and conferences, most recently a conference in Sports Medicine. She has a keen interest in the areas of Women’s Health and Paediatrics.
Sinéad has over 12 years experience working in both public and private sectors. During this time she has gained vast knowledge in treating musculoskeletal and orthopaedic disorders. She has also worked in busy clinic settings, where she has run Pilates and exercise classes, as well as providing physiotherapy to numerous sports teams. She is one of the Senior Physiotherapists at Knocknacarra Physiotherapy Clinic.
Sinéad has a keen interest in sports and strength and conditioning. She has worked with many sports teams since qualifying as a physiotherapist. She is also a keen sportsperson herself, having played gaelic football and tag rugby at county and international level. She has run numerous half marathons and two full marathons. She likes to share her love of exercise with her clients, empowering them to become stronger, healthier versions of themselves.
